Bhow

We wanted a pet app that feels like the street outside your building: crowded, funny and full of familiar faces, with one calm white card telling you exactly what to do next.
Bhow is an invented pet-care app for Indian cities. It puts a licensed vet on video in minutes, books ID-checked walkers and sitters, and keeps every vaccine and visit in one record. Most pet apps in this space look like clinics or marketplaces. We wanted Bhow to feel like a neighbour who happens to know a good vet.
The page opens on a wall of hand-drawn faces: indie dogs, pugs, spotted mutts, tabbies, a black cat, rabbits, a parrot, a goldfish bowl and the people who live with them, all in one thick black line. A single white card with a two-pixel border sits in the middle, so the crowd carries the personality and the card carries the message. Below it, an editorial serif sets the voice, mascots sit inside the headlines, and pastel cards in mint, butter, peach and blush each give one feature a small visual joke.
The page runs as eight sections, from the crowd hero through a marquee of partner clinics and groomers to a giant bhow.in footer. The crowd is drawn in code from a set of SVG heads and bodies, packed in staggered overlapping rows from a seeded random layout, and drifts upward in a seamless loop that visitors can shuffle or pause. The vet thread and booking thread are real HTML product UI with vet tags, live call status, a visit summary card and @mention chips. Everything reflows to a single column at phone width, with a pill nav that folds into a menu.
